She is able to handle the sharks by rubbing hundreds of jelly-filled pores around the animal’s nose and mouth, an action that brings on a natural paralysis that can last for up to 15 minutes. In that amount of time, Zenato, is able to tend to injured sharks, remove parasites and teach other divers
